Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using IdeaDose at ideadose.dev (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
IdeaDose is an AI-powered startup idea evaluation service. Users submit startup ideas and receive AI-generated evaluations that assess feasibility, market potential, and risks across multiple dimensions. The Service provides a GO, RISKY, or KILL verdict along with supporting evidence and analysis.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. Payments, Credits & Subscriptions
4.1 Credit System
The Service uses a credit-based system for evaluations run outside the IdeaDose Ledger subscription. Each idea evaluation consumes one (1) credit. New accounts receive a limited number of free credits upon signup. One-time credit packs are no longer offered for new purchase; account holders who purchased a pack before this change keep their existing credit balance, which remains fully usable as described in Section 4.2. For ongoing evaluations beyond your free credits, see the IdeaDose Ledger subscription in Section 4.5.
4.2 Legacy Credit Packs
Credit packs are no longer available for new purchase. The pack sizes and prices below are kept for reference and continue to apply to accounts that purchased credits before this change, including for the refund terms in Section 4.4.
- Starter (S): 15 credits — $10
- Growth (M): 40 credits — $22
- Pro (L): 80 credits — $39
4.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.
Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for both one-time credit purchases and recurring subscription charges. This means Lemon Squeezy, not IdeaDose, is the seller of record, processes your payment, charges your payment method on each renewal, and issues invoices and receipts. Your use of any paid feature is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service and privacy policy.
4.4 Refund Policy
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that none of the purchased credits have been used. Once any credit from a purchase has been used to initiate an evaluation or generate a Read, the entire purchase becomes non-refundable.
To request a refund, contact us at kcdmlry@gmail.com with your order number. Approved refunds will be processed through Lemon Squeezy and returned to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Credits do not expire and have no cash value. If a refund is issued, all credits from the refunded purchase will be deducted from your account.
Subscription refunds. The IdeaDose Ledger subscription described in Section 4.5 renews automatically. When you cancel a subscription, you are not charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not provide prorated or partial refunds for the unused portion of a paid subscription period. If Lemon Squeezy issues a full refund of a subscription charge, your subscription access ends immediately upon that refund. Partial refunds, where issued, do not change your access.
EU/EEA and UK consumers, right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For one-time credit packs (digital content supplied without a tangible medium): by completing the purchase you request that the credits be made available for immediate use and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once any credit from that purchase has been used; if no credit has been used, your 14-day right of withdrawal remains fully available. For the IdeaDose Ledger subscription (a continuously supplied digital service): by subscribing you expressly request that the service begins immediately. If you withdraw within 14 days of your first subscription payment, we will refund that first payment in full through Lemon Squeezy and your subscription access will end.
4.5 IdeaDose Ledger Subscription
IdeaDose offers an optional recurring subscription, the IdeaDose Ledger, priced at US$19 per month. The subscription unlocks user-initiated Ledger features, including saving and keeping a verdict, re-evaluating an idea on demand, and running additional evaluations beyond the free allowance. Your first binding verdict is available for free without a subscription.
Billing cycle and renewal. The subscription bills in advance on a recurring monthly cycle, on or around the same day each month as your original subscription date, and renews automatically until cancelled. Each renewal is charged to your payment method on file by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal link provided by Lemon Squeezy or by contacting us at kcdmlry@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not take effect immediately: you keep full subscription access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your account automatically returns to the free tier. We do not provide prorated or partial refunds for the remaining days of a cancelled period (see Section 4.4).
Failed payments and non-payment. If a renewal payment fails, your subscription enters a past-due state and Lemon Squeezy will retry the charge over a limited recovery period of approximately two weeks. Your access continues during this recovery period. If payment is not successfully recovered, your subscription ends and your account returns to the free tier. If a payment is later recovered, your subscription is restored to active.
Price changes. We may change the subscription price. We will give you advance notice of any price change, and the new price will apply to renewals occurring after the notice period. If you do not agree to a new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.
What happens to your saved verdicts when a subscription ends. Cancelling, downgrading, or losing subscription access does not delete your existing ideas, evaluations, or saved verdicts. Your data remains stored in your account, remains visible and readable on the free tier, and is governed by our Privacy Policy. Subscription-only actions (saving or keeping additional verdicts, on-demand re-evaluation, and additional evaluations) are no longer available until you resubscribe.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IdeaDose from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination for cause.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
